NOTE!
The model type must be chosen (Parameter 4 or Parameter 5).

Otherwise the new parameters will not be stored.

Programming with the stick positions

1. Connect the controller according to the above photograph (with the exception of the power battery)

2. Turn on the Tx and move the throttle stick fully forward.

3. Connect Power Battery to the controller.

4. The controller will confirm connection with a short beep.

5. After approximately 10 seconds you will hear a double beep as confirmation of the fully forward position.

6. Move throttle stick to closed position, a short beep will confirm.

7. Finally move the throttle stick to the reverse position; a triple beep confirms the programming of the reverse position.

Note:

If after (step 3.1.2) the red LED illuminates, then the SERVOREVERSE

function must be operated in the Tx, remove power supply,

reconnect and restart the programming (step 3.1.1).

The fully forward position of the stick must be set near the mechanical stick limit.

3.2 Programming the stick positions forward and stop

Programming the forwards and stop stick positions of the controller

should only be used in forwards operation (no reverse!); this is made

in a same manner up to step 3.1.6. The programmed stick positions

are confirmed with a triple beep.

4.1 Programming the speed controller parameters without using the Programmer

Five parameters may be programmed in this manner. Entry into programming mode is made by:

1. Controller connected as per the above photograph (except the Power Battery)

2. Turn Tx on and move throttle stick to forward position.

3. Connect Rx battery supply

4. Controller will beep to confirm.

5. After approximately 10 seconds, you will hear a double beep and after a further 3 seconds, a triple beep will be heard.

Parameter 1 has been chosen when the controller continuously

emits single beeps and the LED flashes.

The following stick movements set the program Parameters: Move

the throttle stick to closed position and quickly return to full

throttle. The controller will indicate the effective programming of

Parameter 2 by a continuing double beep and flash of the LED.

For programming Parameters 3, 4 and 5 the sequence described above must be followed.

To change the Parameters, the throttle stick must be moved quickly from full throttle to the stop position and held for a minimum of 3 seconds in the stop position.
To set the parameters, move the throttle stick from the stop position to full throttle and back.

Moving the throttle stick quickly from stop to forward position stories the changes.

Completing and storing the programmed settings is made by momentarily removing the power supply battery.

The controller is now programmed and ready for operation.

The 900 series is a further development of the proven ROXXY BL-800 series, and now offers a range of new functions

which make these speed controllers equally suitable for use in model aircraft, boats and electric helicopters.

 The new functions:

Programmable forward / reverse function, ideal for model boat applications.

Governor mode, optionally programmable with or without speed regulator: perfect for micro and mini electric helicopters.

Plug-in programming card for simple and unambiguous function set-up.

 Additional features:

Can be set for use with in-runner and outrunner motors; LED indicator.

Brake can be programmed on and off.

High pulse frequency (32,000 Hz) for ultrafine speed control, e.g. for “torque-rolls”.

Integral temperature guard protects the controller from thermally induced damage.

Programmable low-voltage cut-off.

Like all robbe speed controllers, these units are fitted with the usual protective and filter functions, including POR power-on guard and RX filter.

Designed specifically to match the ROXXY series of BL motors, but can also be used with other brushless motors.

Programmable basic functions:

NC / NiMH or LiPo battery type

Motor direction left, right, forward / reverse

Brake On / Off

Model type select: fixed-wing, boat or helicopter

more Specification:

Auxiliary functions (only with the programming card, No. 318642)

Cut-off voltage NC / NiMH:

< 7 NC = 5.5 Volt

> 7 NC = 0.5 V / cell

2 LiPo: 5.5 Volt

3 LiPo: 8.3 Volt

4 LiPo: 11 Volt

Cut-off mode

Motor timing

Acceleration

Start power

Brake power

Governor (speed regulator mode)
