The Story
UniLight 13/15mm Pin Strobe Light, 16X2W, T-Fuse - White PIN13F-160x2-WE
Slim LED high-performance flash light with 16W reference power and x2 chip technology for operation as a very powerful flash light on various models. The pen light is delivered pre-assembled and ready for use on a CNC-manufactured aluminium heat sink, with 3 high-strength polycarbonate caps for free use:
1x 13mm cylinder cap
1x 13mm round cap
1x 15mm cylinder cap
1x 13mm round cap
1x 15mm cylinder cap
The caps can be glued separately and painted individually in the model colour. Any adhesive that does not evaporate is suitable for bonding, such as epoxy, Uhu Allplast, Uhu Por, silicone, canopy glue. Ideal as an extremely powerful strobe or beacon on all models from 2m, helicopters from 600. The light is with one integrated temperature fuse, this switches off at 65°C and reactivates automatically after cooling down. The thermal design is made for operation as a strobe or beacon and would lead to an early shutdown if used as a position light.
Ready to use with 1m silicon cable and series resistor for 2S, resistor for 3S enclosed
The reference power is a comparison value between our offered lights. It normally refers to an operating voltage of 12V/3S LiPo and is dependent on bulbs, operating mode and technology.
The luminaire is ready to use for operation with 2S LiPo (ca. 8V). With 3S (12V), the enclosed resistor has to be added. Please note that high-performance LEDs can get very hot, up to 70°C is quite normal. These lamps with heatsink cases are suitable for continuous operation if an air flow (during flight) is possible. If this is not the case, the duty cycle of 5-10 minutes should not be exceeded. Always pay attention to the operating temperature, we do not assume any warranty in case of overheating.
